The development of philosophy in public space creates new forms of philosophical dialogue which oppose traditional academicism. A philosopher-orator who is proficient in philosophical sciences and is able to actualize the philosophical heritage in the context of actual problems of modern times is at the center of public philosophy. The distinctive features of this orator are as follows: sensitiveness in relation to the public, effective rhetoric and existence of a specific philosophical concept. The article proposes the algorithms of intellectualization which are based on the communicative discourse including posing essential questions about the meaning of life, formulating definitions, metaphors, aphorisms and laws. The current study deduces the critical necessity of public philosophy in the sphere of existential meaning of the human being. Cities’ microlocations are an optimal communicative space of public philosophy.
